THE WORK

Enmeshment Therapy supports individuals in enmeshed frameworks, exploitative relationships and trauma-bonded experiences toward the emergence of emotional growth, and differentiation. The practice works with persons who have experienced or are experiencing a loss of boundaries in family systems or other primary and secondary relationships in interpersonal, cultural or professional fields.

Individual sessions support the clients to observe patterns of relating that may be hidden in the familiarity and normality of their experiences. Over time, these discoveries will lead to levels of awareness and growth toward a better understanding and an inhabiting of one's authentic self.

Who is it for?

Working with clients internationally, the practice explores sensitivities to different understandings of enmeshment in cultural diversity.

I also work with Survivors of childhood abuse (sexual / physical / psychological), Adult Children of Alcoholics and Dysfunctional Families, Survivors of religious or spiritual abuse, and war and military bonded Survivors.

An initial consultation will explore whether enmeshment-focused work is appropriate for the client. When or where appropriate, referrals to other areas of therapy are made possible to better serve individual needs.

Sessions are held weekly online (Zoom) for 1 hour and are £90/€100  per meeting. The length of the work can be time-limited or open-ended in duration, as agreed. There are limited spaces available for those on reduced incomes.
